Namib Blue | Mashare Berries Farming (Pty) Ltd
1. Overview
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of namibblue.com and all purchases made through our WooCommerce online store. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
2. Online Store Use
By using our website, you confirm that:
- You are 18 years or older, or have permission from a guardian
- You will provide accurate and complete order information
- You will not misuse or attempt to disrupt the website
We reserve the right to restrict or cancel access if these terms are violated.
3. Products & Availability
We sell fresh and frozen blueberries, which are:
- Seasonal and perishable
- Subject to availability and harvest conditions
- Packed by weight/size categories
We reserve the right to:
- Limit quantities per order
- Adjust availability without notice
- Cancel orders where stock is unavailable
4. Pricing
- All prices are in Namibian Dollars (NAD)
- Prices may change without notice
- Final pricing is confirmed at checkout
5. Orders
5.1 Order Information
When placing an order, you must provide:
- Full name
- Valid phone number (required for delivery coordination)
- Delivery or pickup location
- Any relevant order notes
You are responsible for ensuring this information is accurate.
5.2 Order Confirmation
- Orders are confirmed via email
- Your order appears in our internal WooCommerce order system
- Orders are processed in batches based on delivery schedules
5.3 Order Changes
- Changes must be requested before packing begins
- Once packed, orders cannot be modified
6. Payment
We accept:
- EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)
- Other payment methods as listed at checkout
Important:
- Orders may only be processed once payment is received
- If payment is not received within the specified time, the order may be cancelled
7. Delivery & Collection
7.1 Delivery
- Deliveries are done on scheduled routes and days
- Customers must provide a clear physical location
- A valid phone number is required for coordination
If no one is available:
- The order may be left at the customer’s risk, OR
- Returned and rescheduled (additional charges may apply)
7.2 Collection / Drop-off Points
- Orders may be collected at designated pickup locations
- Customers (or their representatives) may be required to:
- Provide their name/order number
- Sign a delivery/collection list
7.3 Weekly Packing & Delivery Lists
- Orders are compiled into weekly packing and delivery lists
- These lists may include:
- Customer name
- Phone number
- Order items and quantities
- Delivery or pickup location
These are used strictly for operational purposes.
7.4 Perishable Goods Responsibility
- Products must be refrigerated immediately after delivery or collection
- Namib Blue is not responsible for:
- Delayed collection
- Incorrect storage
- Spoilage after handover
- 7.5 Delivery Zones & Routes
Namib Blue delivers to the following locations:
- Windhoek
- Okahandja
- Otjiwarongo
- Otavi
- Tsumeb
- Grootfontein
- Rundu
Delivery Schedule
- Deliveries are done on scheduled weekly routes (when berries are available)
- Each town is serviced on specific days, which will be:
- Communicated via WhatsApp, email, or website updates
- Confirmed after your order is placed
We do not offer on-demand or same-day delivery.
Drop-off Points
- Certain towns may use central drop-off locations (e.g. offices, farms, shops, or meeting points)
- Customers are responsible for:
- Arriving on time
- Providing the correct contact details
- Collecting within the communicated time window
Missed Collections
If an order is not collected at the agreed time/location:
- The order may be:
- Reallocated, OR
- Disposed of (due to perishability)
Refunds are not guaranteed in these cases.

Out-of-Zone Requests
- Orders outside these towns are not guaranteed, and can be arranged through Hardap Couriers
- Delivery fees will be for the client’s own cost and an additional 10 NAD handling fee will be charged by Mashare Berries Farming Pty Ltd
- Hardap Couriers will collect from the farm on Mondays and Thursdays to ensure next day delivery
Route Delays
While we aim to deliver on schedule:
- Delivery times may vary due to:
- Weather conditions
- Road conditions
- Farm or harvest delays
Customers will be notified of any major delays.
Handover Responsibility
Responsibility for the order transfers to the customer:
- Upon delivery to the provided address, OR
- Upon collection/sign-off at a drop-off point
From that moment, proper storage (refrigeration) is the customer’s responsibility.
8. Returns & Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of blueberries:
- Returns are not accepted
However, we may offer refunds or replacements if:
- Products are damaged on delivery
- There is a verified quality issue
Conditions:
- Issues must be reported within 24 hours
- Photo evidence may be required
9. Substitutions & Variations
Due to harvest variability:
- Product sizes or packaging may vary slightly
- We may substitute with an equivalent product (same or greater value), where necessary
Customers will be notified where possible.
10. Website & System Accuracy
We aim for accuracy, but:
- Stock levels may not always reflect real-time availability
- Errors in pricing or product listings may occur
We reserve the right to:
- Correct errors
- Cancel affected orders with notice
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- Products are supplied “as is”
- We are not liable for:
- Loss due to incorrect delivery details
- Spoilage after delivery/collection
- Delays beyond our control
12. Intellectual Property
All website content (branding, images, text) belongs to Namib Blue and may not be used without permission.
13. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Namibia.
15. Updates
We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
